Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA across this website, and we treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than an afterthought. Our most recent internal review was in September 2026.
What we have done
This website was rebuilt in 2026 with accessibility in mind. That includes:
- Semantic HTML and page landmarks so screen readers can navigate the structure of every page
- A “skip to main content” link as the first item on every page
- Full keyboard operation, with a clear, high-contrast focus outline on every link, button and form field
- Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning, and empty alternative text on purely decorative ones
- Text and interactive colours checked for contrast against WCAG 2.2 AA — body text, links and buttons
- Form fields with real, programmatically associated labels — not placeholder text pretending to be labels — with related choices grouped and required fields marked in text as well as colour
- Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting, and a pause control on the moving brand-logo strip
- Content that is readable without JavaScript — nothing important is hidden behind a script
- A page that stays usable when text is enlarged or the browser is zoomed
Where we know we can still improve
A few of the hand-drawn diagrams inside some of our how-to guides carry small labels for illustration; each of those diagrams has a written description for screen readers, and the same information is explained in the surrounding text. We are continuing to review the site as we add to it. If you hit something that does not work with your assistive technology, we would genuinely like to know — and we do not consider the job finished.
Tell us
Call 661-412-4308 or email info@kaliebdesigns.com and describe what happened, including the page and the assistive technology you were using if you can. We will work with you to get you the information or service you need, and we will fix the underlying problem.
